Solar panel cleaning for better output
The challenge:
The Oaks Glenelg Plaza sits close to Adelaide’s coastline, which is great for views but tough on its solar panels. Salt spray, sand, and bird poo were reducing panel performance and increasing corrosion risk.
Our solution:
We tailored the cleaning method and equipment to lift the crusted salt and remove sand without scratching the panels.
The job needed to be completed with minimum disruption to hotel guests entering and exiting the building.

Graffiti removal. Fast action reduces repeat offences
The challenge:
A business in the Adelaide CBD discovered graffiti in their rear laneway. There was legitimate artwork on the wall, so we needed to be careful not to damage that when removing the tags. Removal needed to be fast and not impact the surrounding artwork.
Our solution:
Graffiti left visible for too long encourages more of the same. According to the Australian Institute of Criminology, rapid graffiti removal — ideally
within 24 to 48 hours — is one of the most effective ways to deter reoffending.
Understanding the importance of removing graffiti quickly, we attended within 24 hours. We used a mix of graffiti remover and low-pressure washing to protect the legitimate wall art.
The result:

Bird spikes, netting and waste removal
The challenge:
St John’s Grammar School had installed bird spikes to prevent nesting around their HVAC units, but the birds still found a way in. Droppings built up, creating hygiene risks for maintenance staff.
Our solution:
We removed the waste, pressure cleaned the area, and installed custom bird netting, complete with a zip access point for maintenance staff to access the HVAC units.

Deck restoration with no disruption
The challenge:
The Beer Garden deck at The Highway is open seven days a week. It’s exposed to the elements, sees constant foot traffic, and regularly has food and drink spilled on it. Needless to say, a deep clean and re-oil was in order and needed to be done without disrupting customers.
Our solution:
We worked across two nights:
Night one: Cleaned and prepped the timber using specialist wood cleaner and pressure washing.
Night two: Applied two coats of heavy-duty decking oil.
We quarantined the area between treatments and ensured it was dry and ready for use in time for the next opening.
The result:
