What is high-pressure cleaning?
As the name suggests, high-pressure cleaning is a form of cleaning that blasts pressurised water between 800 to 4500 pounds per square inch (PSI) through a nozzle to remove foreign particles such as dirt, grime, mould, oil and paint.
How much does high-pressure cleaning cost?
The cost of your high-pressure cleaning job depends on a few factors. These include:
- the size of the area being cleaned
- the kind of surface to be cleaned
- the type of stain or level of ingrained grime
- the complexity of the job
- number of operators needed to complete the job
- if additional machinery, such as a scissor lift, is required
- if any further remediation work is needed after the area is cleaned.
What happens when I request a quote?
When you request a quote, Richard will call you to find out a few details about the job. It’s helpful if you know the rough size of the area and the type of stain (oil, mould, paint, etc.). It would be even better if you could send some photos of the area. If it’s a large or complex job, Richard will generally come to have a look so he can provide an accurate quote.
How early/late can you visit?
As a general guide, we can provide residential services during the following times:
Weekdays: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturdays: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Commercial, industrial, schools or childcare centres that need work done outside these hours can be negotiated. Richard can arrange this when he is quoting the job.
What is your policy on cancellation or rescheduling of appointments?
Richard and the team understand that sometimes life gets in the way of our best plans. When things pop up and plans change, we try to accommodate you as best we can. Just call us as soon as you know you need to reschedule, and we’ll work with you to book a new time.
Are you and your staff insured?
Yes. Rest assured, Roof to Floor Maintenance is fully insured with public liability cover up to $20 million and property cover.
Are your staff trustworthy?
We understand people can be wary when inviting tradespeople onto their property. When you hire us, you can rest easy knowing staff have Police clearance and working with Vulnerable People checks.

Do I need to supply anything for a high-pressure clean?
One benefit of hiring a high-pressure cleaning professional is that you don’t need to supply tools or do manual work — win! We carry all our tools which are regularly serviced for safety and best performance. We do the heavy lifting and cleaning so you can sit back and relax or get on with your busy day.
Do you use chemicals?
Roof to Floor Maintenance aims to avoid using chemicals wherever possible. The nature of high-pressure cleaning means that dirt and grime can be removed using minimal chemicals. Sometimes the nature of the stain means we do need to use chemicals to get a good result. If chemicals are required, we take all care to protect your valuable property and the surrounding environment.
Do I need to be home for you to quote?
Depending on the nature of the job and the property, it may be possible to view your property externally or use Google Maps to provide an estimate. If you can upload a photo of the area when requesting a quote, this may be sufficient to quote from. Richard will contact you to advise if he needs to see the property to be able to quote the job accurately.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made via EFT or credit card. An invoice is issued on completion of work. Payment is available via Stripe with the option to click Pay Now for Credit Card payment.
How long will the job take?
The time it takes to complete a job depends on the extent and nature of the job we’re undertaking. When we quote you, we’ll provide a time frame so you have a general idea. While we pride ourselves on efficiency, we won’t compromise quality service and value for money.
Do you have experience cleaning multi-storey homes and handling difficult-to-reach areas?
We sure do! All our staff are trained to work with heights and elevated platforms. We can determine what’s needed when quoting the job. We ensure staff use the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses and hard hats. Working with heights and difficult-to-reach areas requires specialised equipment.
Why is it important to regularly maintain my property?
Regular property maintenance is important for many health, safety, and financial reasons. Such as:
Ensuring your home is always looking its best improves the curb appearance and can add thousands of dollars to the value when selling
Regular path and walkway maintenance are essential to reduce slip and trip hazards and create a clean and healthy living space.

Do you take away waste and tidy up after yourself?
Green waste, such as lawn mowing clippings, leaves and branches, can be taken away off-site or thrown away in your organic waste bin and can be discussed at the time of quote. Staff clean any areas affected by pressure cleaning before leaving your property.
