Meet Richard, the man behind the tools
Hi, I’m Richard. I own Roof to Floor Maintenance, a high-pressure cleaning company specialising in commercial and domestic cleaning and maintenance across Adelaide.
I started Roof To Floor Maintenance more than 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve learnt a thing or two about high-pressure cleaning and commercial maintenance.
I wasn’t always a business owner. Before I moved to Adelaide and started Roof To Floor Maintenance, I was a train driver and boiler maker working at BHP in Whyalla. That’s where I gained problem-solving skills and a fundamental understanding of construction, engineering, installation, maintenance and repair principles.
When we moved to Adelaide, I wanted a change in direction. An opportunity came up to buy a commercial cleaning business, so I jumped at it, and my career in commercial cleaning began.
My move into pressure cleaning came after witnessing the transformation of an outdoor entertaining area. I was amazed at the results after the high-pressure clean. It was so obvious the area had been thoroughly cleaned. I knew then that high-pressure cleaning was the business for me. My experience running a commercial cleaning business taught me how the right combination of tools, cleaning products and the correct process achieves outstanding results.

Hi, I’m Sharon. I’m Richard’s wife. As a team, we’re the family in the family-owned business. You’ll speak with me for all things administration related. I have a long history in counselling, so I understand the value of building strong relationships. At Roof To Floor Maintenance, we know you’ve trusted us with your property. For some, it may be the first time you’ve used a high-pressure cleaning service. I’m here to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible, from when you book the job to payment of the final invoice.
